Our 'must-watch' Adobe Live sessions for designers
If you're anything like us in this ever-changing world of software, you simply can't live without YouTube!
We were excited to stumble across the incredible range of Adobe Live recordings featuring established designers who provide informative insights into their creative process when developing a brand or project, as well as offering up plenty of good nuggets of information be it software tips and tricks or how to network out there in the design world.
It's an absolute game-changer, especially for freelancers, to get a fresh perspective on how someone else approaches the creative journey.
We throughly enjoyed these sessions from some of our favourite designers so we thought we’d round them up to share with you. Enjoy!
1.
Level Up you Brand Using Type with Amber Asay of Nice People
This two-part series offers Amber’s insight in to how she customizes logo’s using typography. In these videos, Amber creates word marks for several brands, customizing each logo while creating a unique typeface using Illustrator.

Design a Sandwich Shop Brand from Scratch with Milwaukee-based designer Sydney Michuda of Super Creative.
In this live stream recording, Sydney walks us through her process creating a brand for a fictional sandwich shop, from assembling the identity to creating mockups using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

In a live demo, Toronto-based illustrator and designer Ben Courtice crafts a poster using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, taking us from sketches through to the final touches in Photoshop.

Crafting Brands with Hoodzpah Design
Not so much a walk through of creating a brand or design, but this recording with Hoodzpah Design touches on lots of good nuggets of information when it comes to creating brands and working with clients.

In this set of three recordings, Hoodzpah Design walk us through their branding makeover for Voda FIlms, their real-life client. These videos cover how they approach logo design, sketch initial concepts and send proofs to clients.

Logotype Design for Brand Identity by Steve Wolfe (ONLINE COURSE)
While not an Adobe Live tutorial as such, and we can’t claim to have watched it either, but we thought this link to Steve Wolfe’s Logotype Design for Brand Identity via Domestika was well worth a spot in the line up.
